Hi, I'm Dom. I build websites and make videos for local businesses.

I'm originally from Germany and now live in Nelson, New Zealand. I work with cafes, shops and local trades to get them found online and looking as good as they are in person.

Where I come from

I grew up in a family that always had its own business, so shops, customers and long days were normal to me long before I thought about websites.

By my teens I was helping my brother run his bubble tea shop. Between making drinks we filmed its reels, and some of them really took off, on Instagram and on TikTok. Running the shop's social media showed me first-hand how much it matters for a small business: a place nobody has heard of can get found, as long as the video and the website are done properly.

How I ended up in Nelson

After school I came to New Zealand to see something different. I started out behind a coffee machine, which taught me what a morning rush looks like from the staff side of the counter, and how much a shop depends on people finding it in the first place.

Nelson turned into home. I'd rather help the cafes, bakeries and workshops I walk past every day than a company on the other side of the world.

What you can expect

When we work together, I come to your shop, shoot the photos and video myself, write the site in plain words, and build it so it works properly on a phone first.

After launch I stay on to fix and update things, so you're never stuck with a site nobody looks after. I also work with businesses in Germany, so I can do all of it in German too, and I'm always happy to talk it through in person over a coffee.

Let's talk about your site.
